The 791 Tarkovsky boots are more than just rugged footwear—they’re a tribute to one of the most hauntingly beautiful films ever made. Here’s why we named them after Stalker.
We don’t name boots lightly. So when we introduced the 791s, we knew they deserved a name that reflected both their rugged minimalism and philosophical depth. That’s how the Tarkovsky Boots were born—named after Andrei Tarkovsky, the legendary Russian filmmaker behind Stalker.
Stalker is a film about venturing into the unknown—a desolate, surreal landscape known as "The Zone." It’s not an action film. It’s a meditation on purpose, survival, and beauty in decay.
The Tarkovsky boots reflect that same spirit. Unlined. Raw. Durable. No fluff, no gimmicks—just high-quality, water-repellent leather and a sole that won’t quit. Boots you wear through your own personal Zone, whether that’s a forest, a city, or a season of change.
There’s a scene in *Stalker* where one of the characters tosses a metal nut tied to a ribbon to test the terrain. That’s what these boots are for—testing the unknown and walking straight through it.
These boots aren’t mass-produced. They’re not fast fashion. They’re for people who don’t mind walking the long way around—as long as the boots hold up.
