Description
The beige Samelin 583 combat boots were developed for the Latvian NATO army. They combine water-repellent split leather, waterproof textile and a breathable Coolmax® lining for demanding daily use in changing conditions.
Key features
- Water-repellent split-leather upper
- Waterproof textile panels
- Breathable Coolmax® textile lining
- Durable dual-layer PU/rubber outsole
- Removable, breathable and antibacterial insole
- Lace-up closure
- Certified to O2, HI, CI, SR, FO and HRO
- Made in Estonia
Weather protection
The textile panels are waterproof and the split leather is water-repellent. Because the complete boot is not specified as fully waterproof, we recommend treating it as a durable weather-resistant combat boot rather than a waterproof boot.
Fit and sizing
Samelin boots tend to fit slightly large. If you are between two sizes, choose the smaller size. Otherwise, start with your usual EU size and compare your measurements with the Samelin & AIPI Boots Size Guide.
Made in Estonia
Made by Samelin in Estonia. Samelin combat boots meet NATO AQAP 2110 and ISO 9001 standards. In 2017, Samelin was named Estonia’s Defense Industry Company of the Year.
Care
Brush away dry dirt, clean the leather and textile gently, and allow the boots to dry naturally away from direct heat. Treat the leather with a suitable care product to maintain flexibility and water repellency. Read our Leather and Textile Care Guide.
