Construction & manufacturing
The PU outsole is molded directly to the leather upper for a secure, integrated construction. Samelin manufactures its boots in Estonia under NATO AQAP 2110 and ISO 9001 quality standards. In 2017, Samelin was named Estonia’s Defense Industry Company of the Year.
The Tarkovsky name
Model 791 is named after filmmaker Andrei Tarkovsky. Samelin cites his film Stalker as the inspiration behind the name.
Care
Remove loose dirt with a soft brush or damp cloth and allow the boots to dry naturally away from direct heat. Treat the leather regularly with a suitable leather-care product to help maintain its condition and water-repellent properties.
