What Are M77 Boots?
M77 boots are Norwegian military boots developed for durability, moisture resistance, comfort and straightforward maintenance. The first version was delivered to the Norwegian military more than 50 years ago, and the design remains in service today.
What defines an M77 boot?

The Classic M77 is largely unlined, with textile beneath the tongue. It is firm when new and normally requires a gradual break-in period.

M77 Classic
The closest option to the traditional M77 experience: thick leather, firm structure and a direct-injected PU outsole. It is not insulated. For adaptable cold-weather use, removable M77 inner socks can be ordered in the same size as the boots.
M77 2.0
The 2.0 has a dual-layer sole. Its thicker upper layer is made from a lighter material, while the lower layer uses the original PU. This makes the boot lighter and less stiff than the Classic while retaining the M77 leather upper.
M77 Winter
The dedicated winter model uses a warm faux-fur lining. Choose it when integrated insulation is preferable to removable inner socks.
Fit and sizing

Water resistance and care
M77 boots use water-repellent leather; they should not be described as fully waterproof. Keep the leather well greased, remove dirt and salt, and let wet boots dry naturally away from direct heat.
Origin and standards
Samelin makes the M77 in Estonia. Samelin combat boots meet NATO AQAP 2110 and ISO 9001 standards. In 2017, Samelin was named Estonia’s Defense Industry Company of the Year.
