The upper combines natural leather with laminated waterproof textile to balance protection, breathability, and long-term wear. A dual-layer rubber outsole provides traction and insulation from frozen ground.

Care & Longevity

Remove the inner sock between wears to allow both the liner and boot to dry fully. Occasional leather conditioning helps maintain water resistance and flexibility. Allowing the boots to dry naturally between uses significantly extends their lifespan.

Fit Guidance

Samelin boots run slightly large. For most customers, we recommend ordering one size down from your usual sneaker size.

For example, if you normally wear a Nike size 41, we recommend choosing size 40.

The fit allows adequate room for winter socks or the removable liner while maintaining a secure feel during wear.

    Samelin & AIPI Boots Size Guide

    Choosing the right size ensures long-term comfort and a proper fit. Both Samelin and AIPI boots are handcrafted in Estonia and designed for durability, everyday wear, and a Scandinavian foot shape with a slightly wider last than average.

    Quick Fit Rule:
    Both Samelin and AIPI boots tend to fit slightly large. If you are between two sizes, choose the smaller size.

    Example: If you usually wear EU 41 in Nike or Dr. Martens, we recommend EU 40 in Samelin or AIPI boots.

    How to measure your foot

    1. Place a sheet of paper on a flat floor against a wall.
    2. Stand with your heel lightly touching the wall.
    3. Mark the tip of your longest toe.
    4. Measure the distance from the wall to the mark in centimeters.

    Measure both feet and use the longer measurement. Compare your result with the inside length shown in the charts below.
