The Samelin M77 Combat Boots are full-grain leather boots designed for long-term use in demanding conditions. Originally developed for Nordic military service, the design has remained largely unchanged due to its durability, repairability, and functional construction.

Use

Designed for daily wear in variable weather and terrain. The M77 is suitable for work, travel, and everyday use where longevity, foot support, and material integrity are more important than lightness or trend-driven design.

Construction & Materials

The upper is made from thick full-grain leather selected for abrasion resistance and long service life. Over time, the leather softens and adapts to the wearer while retaining structural support.

  • Direct-injected polyurethane outsole for grip and flexibility
  • Minimal internal lining to support breathability and drying

Fit Guidance

Samelin boots run slightly large. For most customers, we recommend ordering one size down from your usual sneaker size.

For example, if you normally wear a Nike size 41, we recommend choosing size 40.

The fit allows adequate room for everyday or thermal socks while maintaining a secure feel during wear.

      Samelin & AIPI Boots Size Guide

      Choosing the right size ensures long-term comfort and a proper fit. Both Samelin and AIPI boots are handcrafted in Estonia and designed for durability, everyday wear, and a Scandinavian foot shape with a slightly wider last than average.

      Quick Fit Rule:
      Both Samelin and AIPI boots tend to fit slightly large. If you are between two sizes, choose the smaller size.

      Example: If you usually wear EU 41 in Nike or Dr. Martens, we recommend EU 40 in Samelin or AIPI boots.

      How to measure your foot

      1. Place a sheet of paper on a flat floor against a wall.
      2. Stand with your heel lightly touching the wall.
      3. Mark the tip of your longest toe.
      4. Measure the distance from the wall to the mark in centimeters.

      Measure both feet and use the longer measurement. Compare your result with the inside length shown in the charts below.
